Curious about where you should go on your next vacation? Take this Myers-Briggs personality quiz and before you know it you’ll have a detailed analysis of your personality, your strengths and weaknesses, your relationships with others and, thanks to us, a recommendation for your next vacation destination. We’ve compiled a list of all sixteen personality types and our suggestion for which city should be your next destination!

Personality Aspects

As a refresher, this is what each of the eight letters stand for in the Myers-Briggs.

  • I – Introverted
  • E – Extroverted
  • S – Observant
  • N – Intuitive
  • T – Thinking
  • F – Feeling
  • J – Judging
  • P – Prospecting

In addition to personality types, there are four different type groups. These are Analysts, Diplomats, Sentinels and Explorers. Not sure which you are, or need a refresher? This 15-minute quiz will help you out with some answers.

Analysts

This group of personalities include intuitive and thinking types. They are very intellectual and excel in debates and highly technical fields.

INTJ: Rome, Italy

If you’re an INTJ, you tend to like to make plans and stick to them. You enjoy learning about new things and are often curious about new places that you visit. With this in mind, a trip to somewhere with a deep history will be your dream vacation. INTJ’s are also very independent, so traveling alone could be the perfect escape for this personality type. With all of this in mind, Rome, Italy is the perfect travel destination. This historical city is a good choice for this intuitive personality type because there is so much to explore. This trip will also offer the chance to experience architectural wonders that date back to 753 BC.

INTP: Berlin, Germany

INTP’s are creative and curious. You’re always ready to learn about new things and enjoy studying and admiring architecture. Often known as the philosopher, you like thinking of new ways of doing things and have an energy that is contagious. Berlin, Germany is the perfect place for INTP’s because it is hip, full of history and has plenty of breathtaking architecture. You’ll love taking in the long expanse of the East Side Gallery and learning about the Berlin Cathedral Church.

ENTJ: Cusco, Peru

ENTJ’s love a challenge when they see one. You’re alwayas up for anything that comes your way, so traveling is no different. ENTJs are natural-born leaders and thrive in places where they can lead a group towards a common goal. With this in mind, Cusco, Peru is the perfect place for you! It is home to stunning Machu Picchu, a site of ancient Inca ruins. The beautiful landscape will make you feel like you’re in the Emperor’s New Groove! If you’re up for the challenge, grab a few friends and hike the Inca Trail, which takes about three to six days to complete. As one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, it is a must see for any adventurer.

ENTP: Tokyo, Japan

ENTP’s tend to enjoy engaging in debates with others and are very outgoing. You’re constantly seeking to learn and do more and are always up for a challenge. You are energetic, smart and curious. Someone like you deserves to go somewhere that can keep up with your thirst for knowledge and energy. That’s why Tokyo, Japan is the perfect destination for your vacation. With centuries of history as well as the energy of a modern city, you’ll have everything you need for the perfect vacay.

  • Check out the well-known Tokyo Tower
  • Walk through Tokyo’s oldest temple Sensō-ji
  • Take a walk through the beautiful gardens at Meiji Jingu

Diplomats

This group of personalities are intuitive and feeling types. They are focused on empathy and cooperation.

INFJ: Paris, France

INFJ’s are people who enjoy slowing down and taking in everything around them. If you’re an INFJ, you’re probably not a huge fan of the bustling city life, but are known for caring deeply about others and helping out whenever you can.They’re also known for being quiet and mystical. Very idealistic and creative, INFJ’s will feel right at home in Paris, France. Paris is home to beautiful art museums, breathtaking attractions, quiet parks and gardens and cozy cafes that will leave an INFJ feeling refreshed and inspired.

INFP: Amsterdam, Netherlands

If you’re an INFP, you are always looking for the good in other people. INFPs are passionate and are always searching for ways to make things better. Harmony is something that this personality type strives for. An INFP will enjoy a trip to Amsterdam. It is full of famous museums, canals, and boutiques. There are also beautiful art museums and plenty of parks for relaxing.

ENFJ: Capetown, South Africa

If you’re an ENFJ, you are charismatic and an inspiring leader. You are full of passion, always ready for an adventure and great at bringing people together. As natural leader, an ideal vacation for you might include going somewhere with a group of friends or family where you can lead them on new excursions and adventures. As someone who is extroverted and altruistic, the perfect place for you to spend some time is Capetown, South Africa. Capetown is a beautiful city with expansive beaches and plenty of room for exploration, whether you’re exploring cities, mountains, going zip-lining or cage diving with sharks.

ENFP: Sydney, Australia

ENFPs are enthusiastic, creative and sociable. A free spirit, you tend to be independent and very friendly. At the same time, ENFPs like having time to relax and enjoy everything that life throws their way. It’s the little things in life that make ENFPs smile—and often their smile can be contagious. Always up for anything, this personality type would do best in sunny Sydney, Australia. This multicultural city has a little bit of everything, with plenty of room for adventure and new experiences!

Sentinels

This type group includes people who tend to be very hardworking, cooperative and practical. They are also very observant.

ISTJ: London, United Kingdom

As someone who enjoys rules and standards, ISTJ’s are often very systematic and have a no-nonsense attitude. If you are an ISTJ, you enjoy learning as much as you can and diving into a city’s culture and history. ISTJs are often interested in a variety of different things and they try to excel in all of them. The perfect place for this personality type is London. Endless (free!) museums on a variety of topics, a no-nonsense city with plenty of culture and excitement will make this trip one for the ISTJ’s books!

ISFJ: Santorini, Greece

If you’re an ISFJ, you are dedicated and have strong people skills. ISFJs are very supportive and reliable, always prioritizing time with family and friends. ESFJ: Seville, Spain

ESFJ’s are very warm and caring. Although they’re quite practical, they’re also sociable and often seen as the popular type. People with the ESFJ personality type like making friends. If you’re an ESFJ, you probably like to enjoy the finer things in life and your dream trip may include sightseeing with friends in beautiful Seville, Spain. This city in southern Spain is perfect for you to grab some friends, eat delicious food and then go out for a night of flamenco dancing.

Explorers

This group of personality types are spontaneous and are great at connecting with their surroundings. They are utilitarian and practical.

ISTP: Phuket, Thailand

If you’re an ISTP you are constantly craving a challenge and love experimenting with new places or things. ISTPs love to share their experiences with other people which is why a group trip is perfect for this type. Although introverted, ISTPs like to be a bit spontaneous at times and are very curious. Phuket, Thailand is calling your name. Located in southern Thailand, it is full of stunning beaches and cliffs. There are also temples and other historic landmarks that ISTPs will enjoy.

ISFP: Queenstown, New Zealand

If you are an ISFP, you like to upset traditional norms and instead go in your own direction. Dubai is the perfect place for this personality type to experience a busy city atmosphere and still go on adventures along the path less traveled.

NYC is also one of the four fashion capitals of the world and is the perfect spot for the entertainer personality to go on vacation.
